Crow

Kenna Boyle has been running for six years and pouring beer on a dead stretch of Route 66 for one of them. She's the newest face at Curvy's, the bar where only curvy women work the floor, and she's been careful: no questions, no trouble, no men in leather.

Then a stranger in clean leather sits at her rail for four hours, drinks nothing, and leaves her a twenty and a two-finger salute on his way out. A scout. Somebody has found her.

Crow is the Horned Wolves' Sgt-at-Arms, the quiet one, the man they send when a thing needs to be over. When the club's runs start getting hit and the room turns on the new girl, he stands up in church, puts his own patch on the table, and tells the whole family he's hers.
